1. What this page covers
How to stop paying us, what happens to your sites when you do, and when money comes back. It applies to everyone, wherever you are. Section 11 says what your own country adds on top, and where your local law gives you more than this policy, your local law wins.
This page forms part of our Terms of Service.
2. How to cancel
Cancel a paid subscription at any time from the billing portal, reached from your account and billing settings. It takes one action and no conversation with us. You do not have to give a reason, and we will not put an offer in your way before letting you through.
If the portal will not load, or you cannot get into the account, email [email protected] from the address on the account and we will cancel it for you. We acknowledge within 24 hours.
3. What cancelling does
Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not cut you off today. Your paid features stay exactly as they are until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and then stop.
- You keep editing, publishing and using credits until the period ends.
- You are not charged again.
- You can change your mind before the period ends by starting a plan again, and nothing will have been interrupted.
4. Free trials
A trial ends by itself. There is nothing to cancel and you are not charged when it expires. When it ends, anything you published is treated the same way as a lapsed paid plan — see section 5.
5. Live sites are paused, and never automatically deleted
When a paid subscription ends, or a trial expires, your published sites are paused. Visitors see a short holding page instead of your site. It says nothing about your account or your billing. We email you when this happens.
Nothing is deleted. Your pages, content, images and backups stay exactly as they were. Starting a plan again brings the site back online immediately, on the same address, with the same links working.
There is no window you have to act inside. The pause does not expire into deletion. There is no timer, no grace period to miss, and no automated job that removes a lapsed customer's work. A site paused today is restorable next month and next year.
We reserve the right to remove content from an account that has been dormant for a long time, or that we are required to remove. If we ever do, it is a decision made by a person, we will email you first at the address on the account, and we will give you a fair chance to restore or export your work before anything goes.
How long the underlying data is kept, and why, is in the Privacy Policy.
6. What you can still do while paused
- Sign in. The account is not locked.
- See your sites, pages and content in the dashboard.
- Export your content in a portable form, so leaving does not mean losing anything.
- Restart a plan and put the sites back online, at any time and with no reinstatement fee.
Features that cost us money to run while you are not paying — composing new pages, AI edits, serving your site to visitors — are the ones that stop.
Your address is held for you. A paused site keeps the subdomain it was published on, so nobody else can take it while you are away and every link that pointed at your site still points at it when you come back.
If you had connected a domain of your own, we stop serving it when the plan ends. The domain remains yours — it is registered in your name, not ours, and we never hold it — so you can point it wherever you like in the meantime, and back at us when you return.
People you invited to your workspace lose the paid features at the same time you do. Their accounts are not deleted and nothing they made is removed.
7. Credits
Credits you have already used are not refundable. A generation runs on a paid AI model the moment you ask for it. That cost is real and immediate whether or not you liked the result, and it cannot be reversed.
- Unused plan credits are part of the plan, not a separate purchase. They end with the plan and are not paid out in cash.
- Promotional credits follow the terms of the offer that granted them, including any expiry, and have no cash value.
- If a generation fails through our fault and produces nothing usable, tell us and we will put the credits back. That is a bug being fixed, not a refund.
8. Refunds
The default is that we do not refund unused time in cash once a billing period has started, because you keep the access you paid for until it ends.
Where we do refund, without argument:
- We charged you twice, or charged an account that had already cancelled.
- We could not deliver what the plan promised for a meaningful part of the period.
- We ended your subscription for our own convenience — for example if we withdraw the Service. Then the unused part comes back.
- We materially reduced a plan you had already paid for and you do not want the reduced version.
- Your local law requires it. See section 11.
Outside those cases we may still refund at our discretion. Asking costs nothing and we read every request.
9. Asking for a refund
Email [email protected] with your account email, the invoice ID, and one line about what you are asking for and why. Those three things make almost every billing question answerable in a single reply.
We acknowledge within 24 hours and aim to decide within 15 days. An approved refund is returned through Dodo Payments to the method you paid with; how long it then takes to appear is your bank's timetable, not ours, and is typically several working days.
10. Failed payments, chargebacks and downgrades
- A failed payment is not a cancellation. We will retry it and email you. If it keeps failing, the subscription ends and section 5 applies — your sites pause, nothing is deleted, and fixing the card brings everything back.
- Please ask us before raising a chargeback. A chargeback is decided by a bank that cannot see your account, it costs us a fee whatever the outcome, and it may suspend the account while it is open. If we owe you money we would rather simply send it.
- Downgrading takes effect at the next renewal, and you keep the higher plan until then. A lower plan allows fewer sites and a smaller bandwidth allowance, so if you are over the new limit some sites will stop being served. Nothing is deleted, and moving back up restores them.
- Deleting your account is different from cancelling. It removes your content on the timetable in the Privacy Policy and is not reversible, so export anything you want to keep first.
11. Where you are
Everything above is our policy. Consumer law in many countries gives you rights a policy cannot take away, and where one applies to you, it applies whatever this page says. The places with detailed rules are named here because they spell out an answer, not because they are the only customers we have.
If you are in India
We operate from Surat, India. A billing complaint you are not satisfied with can be escalated to Krushang Vachhiyat at [email protected], who will look at it independently of the support reply you already had. Your rights under Indian consumer law are unaffected by this page.
If you are a consumer in the EEA or the UK
You generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract for digital services. That right can be lost once you have asked us to start and we have begun performing — which, here, means once you have composed, edited or published with the Service.
What we undertake: if you are inside 14 days and you have not yet used the Service in a way that consumed credits, write to [email protected] and we will refund you in full, without asking why. If you have used it, we will still consider a partial refund for what you have not used.
If you are in the United States
Where the law of your state requires a particular cancellation or refund right — including rules on automatic renewal, on notice before a renewal, and on cancelling by the same route you signed up through — we follow it, and it overrides anything narrower on this page.
If you are somewhere else
The same principle holds: your own consumer law applies alongside this policy and takes precedence where it gives you more. Write to [email protected] with your account email and invoice ID and tell us what you are asking for. We would rather settle it than argue about which paragraph governs.
